Savour Japanese culture — and its street food.

YATAI MTL is a popular four-day festival that celebrates Japanese culture and the many iconic foods that come from its streets. Yatai literally means “shop stand,” but references the itinerant culinary scene in Japan, a tradition that dates back to the Edo period in the 1630s. The event has three components: a street food zone, an exhibitor zone, and a cultural zone.

Watch a massive mural come to life.

It’s the final weekend to see MURAL Fest, an international public art festival dedicated to the celebration of creativity and the democratization of urban art. The annual event transforms Saint-Laurent Boulevard into a real open-air museum. Local and international artists unite their talents in the most creative manners. DJs will spin onsite, along with plenty of other live entertainment. Until June16.
