Two-time PGA Tour champion and two-time Oklahoma Open winner Robert Streb is a late addition to the field for the 2024 Compliance Solutions Championship beginning Thursday at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Course in Norman. The field will be finalized today as two Monday qualifiers with four spots each are being held, one at Winter Creek Golf Club in Blanchard and the second at The Territory in Duncan.

Otherwise, the field is largely set for the second and apparently final edition of the event, at least at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in Norman. It was announced last Tuesday that the event would be moving The Patriot in Owasso for 2025.
At Jimmie Austin, the opportunity exists for many players with state ties and even more so University of Oklahoma ties to win the event and basically secure their PGA Tour card for 2025.
Former Sooners who have extensive familiarity with Jimmie Austin as it is the Sooners home course include Max McGreevy of Edmond, who has twice had his PGA Tour card and currently ranks No. 7 on the Korn Ferry Tour points list. Weatherford native Quade Cummins is right behind him at No. 8 after finishing 38th at 9-under Sunday in the Wichita Open at Crestview Country Club.
Other former Sooners in the field and their current points standing are Garett Reband (66), Logan McAllister (93), Patrick Welch (110) and Blaine Hale Jr., who is in off his status earned on the DP World Tour. Ben Lorenz, who recently completed his career at OU, is in the field as a sponsor exemption.
Former Oklahoma State players in the field include Kris Ventura (17), Zach Bauchou (60), Brendon Jelley (63), Morgan Hoffmann (128) and veteran Bo Van Pelt, 49. Van Pelt is tuning up his game for a run at PGA Tour Champions next year. He has one PGA Tour victory and over $21 million won in 467 career starts on the PGA Tour. Jelley, the three-time OGA State Amateur champion (2014, 2015, 2017) was one of the few players with Oklahoma ties to make the cut in the event in 2024.
Also from the state, Oak Tree National members and former PGA Tour card holders Rhein Gibson (74) and Josh Creel (141). Creel is currently listed as an alternate as is veteran Tag Ridings, who grew up in Tulsa where his father Paul was the head professional at South Lakes Golf Course in Jenks.
In a nice bit of qualifying news, former Edmond North and Kansas State star Streb played his way into the field with a top-10 finish Sunday in Wichita. Streb has been bouncing back and forth this year between the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour due to only partial status on the PGA Tour and a victory in Norman would go a long ways toward regaining full status for 2025.
The field includes 19 past Korn Ferry Tour event winners including Gibson.
Junior Clinic open to public on Saturday
A Junior Clinic will be held on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The clinic will be on the range at Jimmie Austin Golf Club and feature hands-on learning and activities with Korn Ferry Tour professionals, utilizing targets and stations for chipping, putting and full-swing instruction. Kids are invited to attend this free event open to the public. Pre-registrations is not required and clubs will be provided.
“Not only can fans come watch the next stars of the PGA TOUR compete, but we are excited to offer this engaging opportunity for our young fans to learn some swing tips and be introduced to the game of golf,” Lucas Fox, Tournament Director, said.
Families are encouraged to stick around following the Junior Clinic for the tournament’s marquee event, the Compliance Solutions Championship Celebrity Shootout. The special event will be contested over a multiple hole team scramble, match-play format, all to benefit the tournament’s two primary beneficiaries: AutismOklahoma and Folds of Honor.
The celebrity lineup will feature golf’s greatest champion Jack Nicklaus, alongside Oklahoma legends that include an Oklahoma State University team comprised of basketball’s Doug Gottlieb and Desmond Mason with baseball’s Robin Ventura and a University of Oklahoma team featuring football’s Dusty Dvoracek, Curtis Lofton and Teddy Lehman.
In additional news, kids 18 and under receive free general admission with a ticketed adult to the Compliance Solutions Championship. And new this year, college students will receive one free general admission ticket with a valid student ID.
The tournament is open to spectators from Thursday (June 20) to Sunday (June 23). Tickets for the official Korn Ferry Tour event’s second playing start at just $10 and several ticket options are available, including daily and weekly grounds tickets, and 18thhole hospitality.

Folds of Honor Friday details announced
Folds of Honor Friday, the new Folds of Honor program supported TOUR-wide will be activated on Fridays at select tournaments on the PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions, and the Korn Ferry Tour.
Folds of Honor Friday recognizes the commitment and sacrifice of military service members and first responders who guard our freedoms and protect our communities. At the Compliance Solutions Championship, all are encouraged to wear red, white and blue on Friday as an outward display of unity and an inward commitment to meeting sacrifice with hope for the families of America’s fallen or disabled military and first responders. In addition, a ceremonial first tee shot ceremony will take place on the first tee box ahead of the second round of tournament play.
Oklahoma City-based singer, Adam Aguilar, will perform the National Anthem ahead of a ceremonial first tee shot from Folds of Honor guest, Cale Coffman.
Cale, from Piedmont, Oklahoma, is a freshman at the University of Oklahoma studying political science. His father was Coast Guard Petty Officer Third Class Shaun Coffman, who proudly served for four years at the Coast Guard Air Station in Houston. PO3 Coffman received many awards and decorations for his service, including the Meritorious Unit Award and National Defense Service Medal. His son, Cale, is set to graduate in 2027 and hopes to pursue a career as a lawyer.
Complimentary admission to the Compliance Solutions Championship is available to members of the United States Armed Forces (Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve, and Retirees) and veterans.
